If your car feels like a sauna in the summer or a fishbowl at every red light, it's time. At Tint King, we do automotive window tinting in Saskatoon for people who want their vehicle to look clean, feel cooler, and actually hold up over time.
Heat Reduction
Good window tint can significantly reduce the heat build-up inside your vehicle, making summer driving more bearable without cranking the A/C.
Glare Control
Reduce eye strain from direct sunlight and headlight glare — especially relevant during Saskatchewan's long, bright summer days.
UV Protection
Quality window film can block a significant amount of UV rays, helping to protect both your skin and your interior from sun damage.
Privacy and Security
Darker tint makes it harder for people to see inside your vehicle, which reduces the visibility of valuables and adds a layer of privacy.
Clean Finished Look
Beyond the performance benefits, a properly installed window tint just looks good. Clean, dark windows change the overall appearance of a vehicle.
Film Quality
Cheaper films often fade, bubble, or turn purple over time. The quality of the film matters for both appearance and performance.
Heat Performance
Not every dark-looking film actually blocks heat well. Ceramic and high-performance films are designed specifically for heat rejection.
Clarity
Lower-quality films can introduce haze or distortion, especially at night. Better films maintain optical clarity while still providing privacy.
Durability
Quality automotive window film is designed to hold up through car washes, temperature changes, and years of daily use.
After your tint is installed, you may notice water bubbles or a slight haze behind the film. This is completely normal and is part of the curing process — the adhesive needs time to fully bond to the glass. Minor distortion or a slightly cloudy appearance can also show up at first. Depending on the weather and temperature, tint typically takes up to 2 weeks to fully dry and cure. Keep your windows up for the first few days, avoid rolling them down, and let the film do its thing.

About Shadeshifter
Shadeshifter is a Tint King exclusive super ceramic transitioning film that darkens when it's bright and lightens when it's dark.
IR stands for infrared. Infrared rays are what cause the interior of the vehicle to heat up. The film works by absorbing 365–395nm UV rays, which can penetrate laminated glass, so it works on full windshields, laminate front door glass, Model 3 back glass, and similar glass.
Pricing Notice: Client-provided pricing. Confirm current availability, vehicle fitment, taxes, and installation details.
Legal Tint: Front windshields, brows, and AS1-line tint rules vary by location. Confirm local tint laws before installation.
